Today 65% of all USA based search is mobile & tablet – for many industries, up to 90% of traffic is mobile/tablet driven.

You need to know your audience habits:

Step 1: Review your Google analytics (install if you are not using and gather data for a week to review!) How many visitors are mobile/tablet vs desktop? How long a visit duration difference is there between devices? Are you losing your mobile users quickly? How can you improve their experience on your website?

Step 2: Look at your website on a mobile device and tablet, take it all in as a new user would. Can you find areas that need improvement? Most sites are originally structured for desktop, and then mobilized (or not). If your mobile experience is lacking, you need to update!

Step 3: Update where you can, Implode your website and rebuild if you have to, or consider replacing your mobile user’s experience with a mobile app instead of your website.
